No. : 114596 Position: Web Operations LeadLocation: Saint-LaurentReporting to the VP of Information Technology, the Web Operations Lead will be responsible for managing our client's centralized website hosting environment and the tools that support it. This includes setting standards for marketing teams and web developers, coordinating with vendors and cybersecurity teams, and ensuring the overall health of the hosting platform and the websites running within it.The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities. They should have a deep knowledge of website development best practices, cybersecurity and legal compliance requirements, digital marketing principles, and be a collaborative team player capable of working effectively with colleagues across different departments.Benefits:- Hybrid work in a flexible schedule with a minimum of two days at the office required per week.- Three weeks of vacation.- Company health and dental plans, and employee assistance program, and a health spending /personal wellbeing account.- Employee Profit Sharing Plan with matching employer contributions.- Monthly company-wide recognition awards with quarterly and yearly winners.- Social corporate events including but not limited to webinars, quarterly town halls and fun activities for all.- Casual business attire workplace.- Free office parking.Responsibilities:- Take ownership of and manage the ecosystems that support our client's web presence.- Collaborate closely with brand web developers and marketing teams to align with security and compliance objectives and guidelines, including privacy, cybersecurity, and accessibility.- Provide technical guidance in internal sessions and vendor meetings for the development of websites.- Coordinate with designers, developers, and content creators to implement website updates and enhancements.- Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of WordPress websites.- Ensure WordPress installations are secure, up-to-date, and regularly backed up.- Evaluate, select, integrate, and manage plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.- Use Google Analytics and other tools to track website performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics.- Build and integrate JotForm or similar form solutions to capture user data, inquiries, and feedback effectively based on specific requirements and workflows.- Optimize product pages, checkout processes, and payment gateways to enhance the online shopping experience. - Create and maintain the hosting environment, websites, standards, tools, policies, and best practices.- Build and manage corporate websites that aren’t directly related to the client’s portfolio of brands.- Ensure all sites are secure, monitored, and backed up regularly according to documented standards.- Track all projects, initiatives, and efforts in the IT Team’s project management platform and in coordination with the IT PMO.Qualifications:- At least five years’ experience in roles related to web hosting, web development, or digital marketing. This could include positions such as web administrator, digital marketing specialist, web developer, etc.- A college diploma or higher, or equivalent experience. Certifications in a relevant field such as web development, digital marketing, or a related discipline would be advantageous.- Specific experience managing SaaS-based WordPress hosting environments.- Proven track record of optimizing website performance, improving security posture, and enhancing user experience within SaaS-based WordPress hosting environments.- Knowledge of and experience with content management systems (CMS).- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including marketing teams, web developers, cybersecurity professionals, and vendors.- Prior involvement in setting standards, implementing best practices, and coordinating projects related to web hosting, digital marketing, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering results on time.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive initiatives to completion.- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams.- Experience with cybersecurity practices, compliance requirements, and risk management principles relevant to web hosting and digital initiatives.- Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and best practices related to web hosting, web development, digital marketing, and cybersecurity.- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques for planning, executing, and monitoring projects effectively.- Bilingualism to work on website used by clients all over Canada.
