Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Marketing, the Recruitment Specialist plays a pivotal role in Adler University's growth and success by participating in a variety of activities and events to attract prospective students to the University. These events include, but are not limited to, conferences, grad school fairs, and classroom visits at feeder institutions. They initiate discussions with prospective students, evaluate their qualifications, and facilitate tours and other meetings as needed.The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with external organizations (community partners, non-profits, and corporations) to drive additional enrollment growth at Adler. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate prospective student records by entering new information in a timely manner in the University’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required.3-5 years of experience in higher education admissions or a marketing/sales environmentAt least 3 years of experience in event or conference planning/management Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent track record in team building and leadership.Strong computer skills with standard programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.Experience working with a CRM for reporting and communications management, Salesforce experience preferred.Outstanding public speaking skills.Excellent organization and follow-up skills.Excellent data analysis skillsAvailability to travel (approx. 25%) and work evenings/weekends A strong alignment with the mission and values of the Adler University Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Recruitment Events: 50% Identify recruitment events and conferences that will result in the highest yield of prospective students for the University.Develop,maintain, and execute an annual recruitment event strategy encompassing all three Adler campuses.Effectively manage annual travel and tradeshow budgetsMaintain and follow up on prospects gathered from each event and conference attendedRepresent Adler University at external and internal recruitment events including college fairs, conferences, classroom visits, open houses, and faculty meet and greets.Counsel prospective students on Adler programs based on stated career goals.Inform prospective students of the admissions and application process.Plan and execute admissions events such as open houses, webinars, faculty meet and greets, and interview days including coordinating with Directors of Admission, working with faculty, and organization of events. Lead the asset development for recruiting events and tradeshows including sponsorship fulfillment, exhibit space design/setup, promotional items, and program/University informational handouts. Partnership Development: 35% Leverage existing partnerships to help the University achieve its enrollment goals.Create new pathways to enrollment by identifying and establishing corporate or other partnerships that align with Adler’s mission.Research and identify potential articulation agreements with undergraduate institutions. Other: 15% Participate in weekly team meetings, by informing conversations related to trends identified within recruitment.Maintain an advanced working knowledge of Adler programs, policies, processes, and admissions requirements.Develop an ongoing professional development plan to remain up to date on industry standards.Coordinate with marketing and admissions on lead engagement communicationOther duties as assigned. Work Environment (Physical Demands): The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
