Job Description : Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or several line(s) including creating and executing daily action plan, developing production operators, and supporting the Process Owner and Maintenance Owner in implementation and improvement of Daily Management Systems elements as well as Health & Safety training. Owns daily cadence and Clean, Inspect, Lube processes.

Position Responsibilities: Operational excellence

• Develop and execute on shift action plan and daily action plan as part of shift huddle and line review
• Present daily updates and action plans in daily meeting
• Validate daily performance, transactions, and time losses
• Validate daily quality tests and addresses any issues

Communications

• Share best practices with other Asset Owners

Continuous improvement

• Define, implement, and improve Clean, Inspect, Lube (CIL) processes while coaching operators to follow standard practices
• Perform EHS audits, develop plans for creating an orderly and clean work environment
• Create action plan to address time losses
• Ensure continuous improvement of performance board to align with evolving operational needs

Talent

• Coach operators on how to properly communicate through the different cadence meetings
• Coach operators and evaluates performance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience leading and coaching teams
• Aseptic processing and packaging knowledge are required including Tetra Pak equipment or similar
• Extensive knowledge of asset and associated processes
• Demonstrates good analytical, problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations
• Brings strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience and understanding of TMOS principles (or lean production system)
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with others

Education : High School plus specialized training (min 6mos-2yrs)/College Certificate
