Job Overview : The Project Manager oversees and manages all aspects of modular construction projects from inception to completion. They are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, through effective project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication.

Reports to : VP, Contracts and Controls

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule all project-related activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to approved financial plans.
  • Identify and procure necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and subcontractors, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Continuously monitor project costs and implement strategies to mitigate risks and maximize project profitability.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes to project scope effectively and professionally.
  • Anticipate and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Other related duties are required.

Education/ Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing modular construction projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth knowledge of modular construction techniques, industry best practices, and building codes/regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of budget management and financial analysis principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.

Working Schedule and Environment :

  • Full-time.
  • This role involves travel that could fluctuate up to 75% of the time, depending on business needs.
