Come be part of the team building large complex multi-year healthcare facilities for our communities!You will be in a leadership role on a team of up to 250 people pursuing, designing, planning, and executing Electrical and Technology project scopes. This role is best suited for those with skills in project management, leadership and design of electrical and technology systems. If you thrive on working in high performing teams with design professionals and field personnel, we'd love to hear from you!Your responsibilities Assist/Lead the pursuit of large design build projectsControl the time, cost and quality of construction projectsPlan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendorsReview contracts for onerous clauses and conditionsManage project financial performanceWork with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing Your experience and skills Minimum 7 years of previous project management experience in a related industryDemonstrated experience completing multiple projects from start-up to close outHigh school Diploma & Electrical TQ or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalentTraining or Courses in Project ManagementProficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Accubid, MS ProjectFinancial acumen and basic understanding of contract lawAbility to create a detailed project scheduleExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to understand customer's needsPMP Certification, an asset About HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future.
