Are you ready to take the helm as a strategic leader in the aerospace industry? We have been retained by a leading provider in the aerospace industry to find a bilingual Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in driving towards achieving their strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining their position as the supplier of choice while spearheading initiatives to expand their market presence and enhance operational excellence. Key Responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer: - Inspire and lead teams towards achieving exceptional results, maintaining a culture of excellence. - Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals - Manage manufacturing operations and project planning - Work closely with finance team to maximize profitability and identify opportunities for cost reduction. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. - Drive organizational change for operational efficiency and maintain an open culture during transitions. Skills and qualifications required: - Proven track record of successful leadership in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of ISO requirements and processes. - Strong financial acumen. - Basic mechanical skills or understanding of manufacturing processes. - Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Bilingual (French/English) - Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar management systems is a plus. Location: St-Germain, Quebec (Hybrid, initially 4 days on-site) Compensation: $170,000 to $200,000 plus bonus, depending on experience Generous benefits package Our client welcomes all qualified applicants.
