Financial Officer

Little Lions Waldorf Child and Family Centre is actively recruiting for a highly analytical, qualified Financial Officer to join our organization. Duties will include (but not limited to) planning budgets, participating in audits, monitoring transactions and preparing invoices.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Officer will:

  • Process all accounts payables/receivables in a timely manner
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Monitor overall organization budget; maintain individual site budgets
  • Reconcile bank statements/transactions
  • Maintain up to date electronic/paper filing system of accounting records
  • Respond to requests for financial information from our funding partners
  • Provide monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors
  • Participate in annual external audit
  • Submit government remittances as required
  • Prepare T4 information annually
  • Plan for and participate in quarterly meetings with the Audit Committee
  • Payroll

  • Additional duties as required

Education/Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in similar role

This full time role is based on 37.5 hours per week in the main office located at 211 Clarke Street.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $26.79-$33.29 per hour
