MISSION
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing supports provided through residential services, and ensuring that services provided are person centred, focusing on the achievement of personal outcomes within the organization.
The Pod Group is partnering with this organization to place a resourceful, compassionate, and strategic individual to fulfill the role of the Program Manager.
PRIORTIES
  • Management of day to day operations and provide direct service and support to individuals or clients
  • Ensure that person centered plans are developed and implemented for individuals receiving services
  • Participate in budget development in relevant areas through the establishment of priorities as they relate to residential service needs
  • Review quarterly financial results related to staffing, food and supplies, petty cash expenditures, training, maintenance, and replacements
  • Assist the Human Resources department with recruitment and selection
  • Provide support, leadership, coaching and mentoring to employees
  • Resolve conflict resolutions, implement respect for others and encourage opportunities for participation, contribution and growth
  • Adhere to workplace Occupational Health and Safety requirements, as well as related legislative requirements, to maintain a safe environment for individuals receiving supports
  • Monitor and ensure the completion of required documentation according to policy, procedure, and relevant legislation
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
TALENTS & EXPERTISE
  • Post-Secondary education in Social Services or a related field
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and CPI certificate
  • A valid Ontario full (G) Driver's Licence
  • Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic planning, team building and facilitation skills
  • Change management experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexible hours as needed, rotating on-call schedule
