Job Title: Dispatcher Aid Location: Dorval Our client in the Transport Industry is looking to add a Dispatch Helper to their team in Dorval. Do you have experience in freight forwarding? Apply Now! melissa.cumetti@randstad.ca / philippe.pilon@randstad.ca Advantages Permanent full time position Monday-Friday 40 hour work week Main role is Dispatch Support Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm Training required for Inbound OPS clerk 11:30 pm to 8am, outbound clerk 4:00pm to 12:30am and Appointment Clerk 5:30 am to 1:00pm (These training are to be able to replace during vacation period and when someone is sick) Salary starting at 45k 5% bonus of salary paid yearly Medical/Dental/Vision insurances after probations period RSP program, match up to 5% Room for growth Responsibilities • Report directly to Dispatch manager or designate • Receive and record information for all calls received • Address problems and make requests by communicating with the necessary parties or providing solutions • Receive calls about deliveries and dispatch pick-ups to drivers • Multitask and prioritize calls according to their urgency • Regularly monitor delivery progress and assure timely response within requested timelines • Providing drivers with vital information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements • Being a floater for other office staff when on vacation or sick Qualifications Knowledge of LTL and FTL is considered an asset Bilingual in English and French. Minimum 1-year work experience in related field Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
