Join us at Titanium, where innovation and opportunity pave the way for a bright future in freight transportation and logistics.About the RoleManaging the existing team of experienced safety and compliance personnelDevelop, implement and manage proactive safety and compliance goals, programs, policies and procedures. Develop corresponding measurement standards and controlsProactively assess risk exposure and develop specific action plans and training to close any gaps for the purpose of ensuring compliance and a safe and secure workplaceProvide analysis and recommendations on accidents, injuries, incidents, etc. to develop and implement action plans to minimize / eliminate future occurrencesEnsure the organization’s compliance with all federal, provincial and other relevant safety and security laws and regulations. Interfacing with appropriate governmental agencies to ensure that the organization’s safety, compliance and security efforts are current. Recommend and assist in implementing any and all appropriate required changes necessitated by legislative mandatesDesigning and managing various performance reports including trend analysis, forecasting, and variance.Liaison with US Safety team to collaborate and support uniformity in deliverablesAct as liaison with the corporate fleet insurance carrier and all related administrationSupervise, through the Corporate Driver Services & Fleet Safety Manager, the administration of driver training and compliance programsSupervise, through the senior staff the administration of various programs, with a priority on ensuring our drivers and fleet can always cross international borders while being in compliance with required initiatives (e.g. C-TPAT, FAST, PIP, etc.)Motivate, manage and develop the Managers that report to this positionPosition RequirementsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management, risk management, or a related field.Experience in leading and managing teams, with direct supervisory experience.Ability to maintain current and learn knowledge of federal, provincial, and other relevant safety and security laws and regulations.Skilled in accident and incident analysis and developing action plans to prevent future occurrencesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to interface with governmental agencies and ensure compliance with legislative mandates.Proactive approach to identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.Ability to travel as needed to various company locations.What's In It for You?
