Support Worker Iv-resource Consultant-full Time

REQUIREMENTS :

  • A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in Resource Teaching/Consulting or equivalent recognized by the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA).
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an inclusive child care setting is required.
  • Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and fluency with the Ministry of Education documents _Emergent Curriculum _and How Does Learning Happen Pedagogy.
  • Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.

DUTIES :

  • Coach, consult and coordinate service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team and be flexible and responsive to shifting service demands.
  • Work using family-centered and strength-based practices.
  • Implement and interpret screens and assessments.

HOURS OF WORK : Committed to regular 80 hour bi-weekly schedule that meets the needs of the service we provide.
