AFSC has a multi-year plan to modernize our core systems with a focus on Salesforce,    As the Systems Administrator (Salesforce), you will play a key role in ensuring the applications are maintained and configured for optimal efficiency, performance and value creation to AFSC Clients. While maintaining a security mindset ensuring that our applications are configured to meet all AFSC regulatory, corporate and governing standards. The Systems Administrator is a critical role in ensuring that AFSC core applications not only meet the needs of today, but are aligned and maintained for the future. What will your growth opportunities look like in this role? Work with Business Analysts and Business groups and stakeholders to align product vision, requirements, etc. with solutionHelp manage and administer the backlog and prioritization of work based on solution / technical dependencies and designWork with the BA / Product Owner to lead the definition, coordination and management of the development team to executing on the corporate goalsUtilize Agile practices (Scrum) for backlog creation, prioritization and planning and execution activitiesIdentifying opportunities and enhancements that maximize the value of the platform, process efficiencies and overall return on investmentConfigure and administer the Salesforce platformHandle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.Create and maintain business processes using core components and add-on components, with a focus on configuration rather than customizationManage the maintenance of the SaaS platform, and associated system(s) to ensure data quality and security standardsMaintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record managementEvaluate new releases of SaaS Application and associated systems to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/usersOversee all technical aspects of SaaS Application including data migrations, data quality, systems integrity, third-party applications, and associated systemsPlan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projectsSecuring the system to ensure users only see the information that is appropriate to themImplement enhanced functionality as new needs and use cases ariseDevelop and test new functionality and customization or enhancementsDefinition and design of process improvement and efficiency capabilities within the SaaS Application and associated systems.Configuring the system to fit your organization’s processesTroubleshoot complex issues within the managed product set as well as integrated productsAct as Tier 2 / 3 support when required to mitigate complex operational issues or outagesWork with the Learning team to develop training materials and provide training and support to SaaS Application and associated systems to end usersTrain new users and grow the SaaS Application skill set across the organizationLight weight scripting and writing of high level code to enhance or support core functionality of the SaaS Application and associated systemsManage less complex SaaS Application integrations - those not handled by a Full Stack Developer or Consultant/PartnerAdhere to the development and management principles, standards and practices of the application lifecycleParticipate in planning initiatives related to defining and improving the SaaS Application services including associated systems What are we looking for from you?
