JOB SUMMARY

Reports to :Senior Director, Business Transformation & IT

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to understand their strategy, and opportunities to see where technology solutions may fit.
  • Maintain and execute an aligned technology roadmap that helps enable Medline Canada’s strategy
  • Serve as partner, advocate, and key resource for the Medline Canada business
  • Build and manage a team of systems analysts and developers that drives to quality delivery of system initiatives
  • Ensure timely communication and ongoing collaboration with business and technology partners on system initiatives and/or issues
  • Leverage standard solution development lifecycle processes to facilitate proper system requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment procedures
  • Ensure the stability of systems when handing off new initiatives to production support and maintain a focus on overall system availability with the team
  • Manage the prioritization new initiatives and resource availability to properly focus on the top priorities for the transportation and logistics area
  • Responsible for cost control within area of responsibilities
  • Supervise all aspects of team function and be accountable for team performance
  • Participate in, and ensure compliance with, Medline’s Change Management Process
  • Create and maintain performance metrics used to measure and improve performance.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs, ensure high performance and availability
  • Responsible for the management, coaching and mentoring of team members in all efforts.

Qualifications : QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
  • Working knowledge of business processes in core business areas of sales, supply chain, and finance
  • Experience in managing development teams
  • Expertise in SAP modules a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of LEAN tools and methods for continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders and senior management
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
