Agilus is recruiting for a Occupational Health Nurse - Full Time! in the Automotive Industry in Oakville, Ontario. Responsibilities: Oversee and attend to all health concerns (non-emergency and emergency), primary assessment, and rehabilitation Assist with WSIB claims and return to work programs as needed Treatment and follow up of occupational illness/injury Follow up on workplace accidents and injuries Offer health counselling and education Coordinate the reporting process of injuries, treatment etc. Interface with management team regarding any special reporting requests Administer and document the following: occupational illness/injury, medical surveillance examinations, pre-employment assessments, respirator fit testing, daily clinic activities, return to work activities The successful candidate brings: Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses Excellent knowledge of all current Ontario Health & Safety legislation and the Standards of College of Nurses and the Personal Health Information Protection Act Demonstrate experience in occupational health and clinical/emergency response settings Strong interpersonal skills, decision making abilities, ability to work independently or as part of a team Must be able to work a 3 shift rotation (Days, Afternoons and Midnight) Total rewards: A WEEKLY paycheck - we pay every Friday! 4% vacation pay added to every paycheck Option to purchase medical and dental benefits Working with a great team, who care about their employees We want to connect with you!
