This position is responsible for monitoring safe operating procedures and maintaining the corresponding documentation.Day to DayContributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipmentsAssisting the Operations Manager in mentoring and educating Facility Assistants in grading, inventory management and safety practicesExercising competency in grading canola, wheat, oats and barleyBinning and blending of all incoming grainPerforming exceptional customer service dutiesRegular facility maintenance & housekeepingBlending fertilizerCommitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment.Required Qualifications3+ years’ experience in the operation of a grain elevatorExperience as a team lead/supervisorThrough knowledge and understanding of the grain industry, including grading factors and elevator equipmentTrained in Health & Safety procedures and a champion for safe work environmentValid driver's licenseAbility to work within environment subject to dust and allergensFlexible work scheduleAbility to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)Preferred Qualifications Post-Secondary education preferably in agriculture or businessAptitude for maintenance and repair of grain elevator equipmentTo apply and learn more visit us atWe thank all applicants, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. ​
