Job#: 2014459 Job Description: 2x Senior Cloud Business Analysts Location: Remote, Consultants can sit anywhere in Canada, but need to be available for PST Working Hours.Client Industry: Healthcare IT Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours / week)Contract Length: 6 months (up to 2 years with possible extensions)Intended Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: 6 months from Start DateHourly Pay Rate: $50 - $75/hour INC Project Description: Our Client is seeking a Cloud Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and supporting our multi-cloud environment. The Cloud Analyst will support the Cloud Centre of Excellence to support project and various stakeholders within BC Health. In this role you will;Assist Architecture in building the financial support internal processes and technology needed to support a multi-cloud environmentMeasure, monitor, and analyze the usage of our Cloud customers and make recommendations for cost optimization. Successful candidates are experienced economist or analyst with technical depth and expertise, along with strong customer engagement and communications skills. A strong understanding of cloud financials is requiredPreference will be given to analysts with prior government financial experience.Services Required: Selected resource will need to perform the following functions:Responsible for complex tasks in various cloud functions in areas of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.Define requirements for process and tool implementations needed to manage a multi-cloud environmentAssist in defining and creation of Cloud related SOW/RFI/RFPCollects and reviews requirements and data from various Cloud related functions.Perform technical and financial analysis to help clients determine the impact of cloud adoption.Define the total cost of ownership and business value for moving to the Cloud.Creates, maintains, updates databases and spreadsheets, and generates various reports as required.Analyzes assigned business owner account, cloud usage, and capacity requirements.Supports the CCoE in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting data as requested.Develops plans for assigned accounts and tracks performance to plan.Assists in the development of operational optimization policies and guidelines.Conducts audits and analysis of their account’s optimization efforts, and reviews their practices and procedures, ensuring that new resources are approved, allowable, and in the best interest of the Business Owner.May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.Maintains current knowledge of relevant Cloud optimization, regulations, policies, and procedures.Participates in special projects as required Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 8+ years’ experience working as a business analyst in a IT/Cloud capacityStrong background in working with financial departmentsPrevious experience with complex Information Technology (IT) projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise, structured and well written documents and reportsHighly adaptable and able to work in a fast paced priority driven environmentExceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable, courteousExcellent time management, prioritization and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail including an awareness of downstream effects of actionsAbility to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problemsSelf-starter, proactive and solution orientedAbility to adapt to change and tolerate high stress levelsExperience working within the Health Authorities is highly preferred Must submit the following work products to demonstrate written communications.
