Senior Product Manager

Summary/Objective

Paymentus is seeking an experienced Product Manager to help lead our roadmap and develop an innovative product that is going to have a world-changing impact on the future of payments.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps
  • Be the internal evangelist, build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Define detailed use cases intended for engineering and design.
  • Represent the customer & the business during design and development phases.
  • Communicate status to stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time.
  • Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various stakeholders.
  • Measure and report on the efficacy of initiatives and develop action plans

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer science required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management
  • Passionate about user experience
  • Ability to dive into the technical details as required
  • Track record in balancing out product priorities against budget and timelines.
  • Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills
  • Be able to work independently, anticipating and resolving problems.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated with proven creative/critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Experience in the payments and/or financial services industries.
  • Preferred: Experience developing high-growth small business facing products and services.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel up to 5% may be required depending on business needs.
