We are currently seeking a motivated, impactful and agile individual to join RSL’s People and Culture team as the People and Culture Generalist.POSITION OVERVIEW:The People and Culture Generalist will play a key role in supporting business leaders in integrating People and Culture best practices in talent management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement and retention, total rewards, and employee relations.The People and Culture Generalist will report to the Manager of People and Culture. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with the Office Administrator and the Payroll Administrator.Please note: the role will be based at RSL’s headquarters in South Burnaby. The incumbent will partner closely with employees at all levels across the business. As such, the remote work option, while available, will be limited.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupports the Manager, People and Culture by participating in the development and implementation of influential people management strategies, practices, standards, and initiatives in areas such as employee relations, workforce planning, coaching, succession planning, performance management, and training and developmentLead all aspects of talent acquisition to create a fantastic candidate experienceManage the exit process, including conducting ad-hoc exit interviewsLead the design, planning and execution of employer branding strategies related to recruitment and talent attractionCoordinate, schedule and conduct leadership, management, interpersonal skills and other training to improve employee performance.Maintain a high level of visibility, accessibility and interaction with all managers and employees at all locations.Be the content owner for all People and Culture related content online internally and externallyCollect employee feedback and determine follow up actions from engagement surveys, exit interviews, and other feedback forumsAnalyze data and observations across the organization, highlight trends and recommend/drive solutions, as appropriateLiaison with payroll administrator regularly to provide payroll backupAct as the primary point of contact for all employeesReception relief and support/back-up as requiredParticipate and engage in special project teams as requested.Other duties as assignedKEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESEducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources ManagementCPHR designation is preferredA suitable alternate combination of education and experience may also be consideredExperienceExperience using HR management information systemsYou will have to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
