You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation and appearance of our building and its facilities. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our tenants, visitors, and employees.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGResponding to tenant requestsWorking with external contractors and building management, such as assisting Marketing and Specialty Leasing departments with their promotions, carts and kiosksComplete preventative maintenance work tasks, regular building systems checksBeing responsible for preventive/corrective maintenance on building equipment and related systemsThe rotating schedule, mornings and afternoons, will include expected start times between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, with the successful candidate working a few weekends per monthGeneral maintenance tasks, such as drywalling, tiling, painting and repairing doors, as requiredWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORMinimum Grade 12 diplomaProficiency in the following trades is desired: painting, door/lock repairs, drywall, minor plumbing, basic electrical work, and lamp changesA minimum of 3 years of experience preferably related to a commercial building environmentBasic computer knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel and Word) are assetsOther requirements such as interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to resolve problems independently and carry out duties under minimal supervision is essentialMust have a valid B.C. driver's licenceWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUJoin an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estate Deep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your work Comprehensive and competitive benefits plan A supportive, caring and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-beingEstimated compensation for this position is: 55,164.00 – 55,164.20 CAD per yearLocation: On-site –Burnaby, BCIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
