The Manager, Configuration & Process is responsible for providing general oversight of all engineering document control processes, engineering policies & procedures, and engineering quality standards. Overseeing the configuration and process team, which is comprised of Engineers, Technologists and Coordinators, they are responsible for aircraft and engineering configuration management, engineering processes, procedures, and work instructions. Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances. Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values.Provides oversight of document configuration, aircraft configuration and process changes. Provides oversight of engineering workflows Supports Quality Assurance audits on behalf of the department and ensures all departments processes, procedures and work instructions are maintained and updated regularly Provides oversight of all data and document releases and receiptsProvides airworthiness support and control to Delegate Engineers. Participate in the administrative activities of the engineering department. Become familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resources safety and security policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required. Excellent communication skills: verbal and written General understanding of airworthiness and aircraft design Working knowledge of configuration control in an aviation environment Familiarity with engineering Quality requirements, processes and audits with a focus on AS9100, AS9110 preferred Familiar with ERP and other internal systems Advanced experience working with technical communication data formats Advanced experience in managing information and documentation design Advanced knowledge of Operations-oriented Document Management Systems Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect Excellent process mapping and project management skills • Degree/Diploma in Technology Management, Aviation Management & Operations, or related field • PMP certification considered an asset 7-10 years' experience in Technology management role within an aerospace environment, or similarly regulated industry Experience in a Safety Management System environment required Candidates with the equivalency of education and experience will be considered Reasons To Apply Employee retention and engagement is important to Cascade; we value our employees.
