Job Description MANAGER, ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSInformation TechnologyGreater Victoria or Vancouver Lower MainlandThe opportunityAs a member of the IT Management team, you lead the maintenance and management of our enterprise asset management software (Maximo), ensuring tangible benefits through technology enablement. You manage the technical, operational, and business interfaces, ensuring seamless coordination and communication among various teams. You also manage projects of continuous productivity improvement releases that have strategic impact across the organization.You collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and oversee the administration and configuration of metrics reporting and statistics for work performance. You work closely with internal and external (client/vendor) executives, leaders and service providers, to establish an industry leading Asset Management practice. Reporting to the Director, IT Enterprise Applications, your key areas of responsibility are: Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and business requirements, and provide guidance concerning applications impactOversee overall data conversion and migration efforts ensuring seamless transition to MaximoOversee the development of interfaces to external systems and identify areas for customization and optimization, providing solutions that meet business requirementsOversee system testing and development of reports for compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Formulate and define systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and business requirementsDevelopment of metrics to monitor performance, identify quality and process improvement opportunities including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development and adherence to business processesLiaise with business senior management to provide timely and correct information on the sustainment of the particular business functionProvide mentorship and guidance in specific business applications, including management principles, best practices, and standardsProvide mentorship and guidance in specific business applications, including management principles, best practices and standardsWhat you bring to the teamYou have a Degree or Diploma in Business, Computer Science or an IT related fieldExtensive experience implementing and/or sustaining Maximo applicationExtensive experience in asset management, maintenance, operations, project management, procurement, internal audit, risk management, and business best practices in an operations environmentMaximo and/or Asset management certifications is preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teamsDemonstrated ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, building trust through goal alignment and transparencyJoin us!If this sounds like your next great career move, please submit your cover letter and resume by May 3.Additional informationThe target salary range: $121,800 - $152,200 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
