Purpose of the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will work cross-functionally in the Svante organization in tight-coordination with your counterparts in business development and project delivery, project engineering, project management as well as Svante’s Product Management and R&D groups. You will harness a strong technical background and business development acumen to advance new project opportunities from origination and qualification to successful contracting of initial engineering studies. Your will work closely together with the Project Development Managers who will then develop the project further to Final Investment Decision. As a Business Development Manager, you will bring together a comprehensive set of skills across business development, sales engineering, and project development to deliver on Svante’s core value propositions with our customers, partners and project stakeholders. You will initiate, qualify, analyze, develop, and drive growth opportunities, focusing on the customer/owner business case and client requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications: You have an Engineering degree in relevant field or equivalent.You have at least years of experience in technical sales or relevant role in large industry.You have experience with technical writing such as developing business proposals or technical reports.You are familiar with process and/or plant engineering language and processes preferably with experience in pulp & paper, refineries, cement plants and large industrial facilities.You have demonstrated interpersonal skills in establishing cooperative working relationships both internally and externally. What Success looks like in this role: You will analyze clients RFQ’s and work with internal team to create winning proposals directly with clients and or governments world-wide.You will develop strategic account capture plans in partnership with our channel to market partners.You will utilize CRM to develop and keep track of a strong robust pipeline.You will develop proposals and presentations to deliver materials meeting RFP requirements, quality standards and overall strategy.You will keep current on market, client and industry trends and communicates to management on impact on business as well as potential for opportunities.
