This includes inventory control, order processing, shipping and receiving, and staff management. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.Ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer demands.Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.Liaising with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities.Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping and receiving. Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers.Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards. Address any issues or defects promptly.Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.There will be occasional Saturday shifts to catch up on orders, receiving, and inventory prep.What you will bring:Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the plumbing or HVAC industry and within in a unionized environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required in a warehouse setting.Able to regularly lift (up to 50lbs pounds)Exceptional customer service and communication skillsMust be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiativeForklift certified or ability to be certifiedWHMIS and TDG certification would be an assetSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
