Job Description Opportunity Overview: Join a dynamic team in a client-facing leadership position where your expertise in tax and business planning will play a pivotal role. Working closely with our tax group and management team, you'll implement strategies that cater to the needs of new and existing clients. Role Highlights: Conduct tax technical research and draft tax correspondence and memos. Review complex tax compliance tasks, including returns and election forms. Provide tax-related support and guidance to all clients and team members. Drive the development and mentorship of other professionals and junior staff. Collaborate with the team to identify planning opportunities and enhance client engagement. Requirements Required Experience and Skills: CPA designation is mandatory. Engagement with the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course, either currently enrolled or completed. At least 4 years in public practice, with 2 years specializing in Canadian private company tax. Proficiency in tax compliance and familiarity with the challenges of small-to-medium-sized businesses. Experience in tax reorganizations and transactions. Independence, motivation, and a proactive work ethic. Exceptional multitasking abilities and client management skills. Superior communication skills and a dedication to open, transparent interactions. A strong aptitude for building relationships and a collaborative team spirit. Benefits Position Details: Full-time role, leading a team of 5 professionals. Based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, with options for a hybrid schedule. Competitive salary range: $95,000 to $130,000.
