Tap Room Associate

We are now looking to recruit Tap Room Associates to join our Beau’s Team in Vankleek Hill.

As a Tap Room Associate you will provide an exceptional experience for all our guests, welcoming them to the Tap Room, providing information about our beers, menu and merchandise.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and serve guests in our taproom and outdoor patio This includes the beer, food and merchandise
• Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
• Ensure all products are consistently served according to the brewery's serving standards
• Process sales transactions through our POS system
• Work as part of the Tap Room team to ensure that guest service standards are met and operations are efficiently run
• Restock, rotate and count inventory in the refrigerators and floor displays
• Ensure that all premises are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Provide information about the craft beer industry including the brewing process and ingredients used to all guests
• Understand and adhere to all brewery policies, procedures, standards, specifications and guidelines
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures and policies

Experience and skills :

• Previous hospitality or customer service is preferable
• Excellent verbal communication skills in both French and English is preferable
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment
• Possess a high energy level
• Be professional at all times
• Knowledge of the craft beer industry is an asset
• Smart Serve Certification

You will be offered various shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. These are all day shifts with latest end time usually 8.00pm

Working Conditions : Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

Be able to work outdoors and be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up heavy items
