Territory Sales Representative

Located in Morris, MB, Norstar Industries is a leading manufacturer of innovative construction solutions, and is now seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Territory Sales Representative will play a crucial role in managing and developing a strong dealer network for our Commercial Bin Sweep product line throughout Upper Midwest USA

Position Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and develop a strong dealer network for the Commercial Bin Sweep product line
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new dealers to expand our market presence
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the Commercial Bin Sweep
  • Provide product training and support to dealers, contractors, and end-users
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop effective sales processes and programming
  • Stay updated on product upgrades, industry trends, and competitor activities
  • Utilize internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to effectively manage customer interactions and track leads
  • Generate monthly and yearly sales forecasts, ensuring target goals are met or exceeded
  • Work with the Sales Director to develop marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide valuable customer insights for new product enhancements

Requirements :

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the construction industry is a strong asset
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a strong dealer network
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (50% travel required) a valid Passport and 5F Driver’s license will be required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and sales forecasting software is a plus
