Job Description Christian Life Assembly is looking for a spirit-filled Associate Pastor to join the Leadership Team of Christian Life Assembly to work in tandem with the Lead Pastor. This full time position provides pastoral leadership and oversight over Sunday gatherings, and over the Worship, Tech, Communications and First Impressions Teams. The Associate Pastor will give leadership to the staff and church in Sunday gatherings and in the office, in the Lead Pastor’s absence. The ideal applicant should be able to work independently, lead and work with teams, and possess good leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills. They must also embrace the theological position of the PAOC and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Preference may be given to applicants with Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Pastoral Theology, Ministerial credentials with the PAOC, and proven pastoral ministry experience, with significant experience in preaching, teaching and public speaking, supervision of staff and volunteers, and an ability to manage large budgets. Education Required Degree preferably in pastoral theology. 10 years Church Ministry or equivalent. Ministry in congregation as pastor. Staff Leadership (3-6 people). Communication - pulpit and significant public speaking. Education, Credentials, Theology ○Post Secondary Diploma/Degree from Bible School or Equivalent ○Ministerial Credentials with PAOC (or recognized by PAOC) or engaged in Credentialing process ○Embraces PAOC theology •Filled with Holy Spirit •Operation of Gifts of the Holy Spirit Experience Required Spiritual Focus: To live an authentic and growing Christian life.
