Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Tasks Operate disinfection systems Operate filtration and clarification systems Operate pumping systems Take physico-chemical measurements on water and sludge Perform security checks within plant and on grounds Analyze test results and instrument readings Collect and test water samples for chemical and bacterial content Complete and maintain plant logs and reports Read recording instruments to measure output and consumption levels, bacterial content, chlorine and fluoride levels Support for persons with disabilities Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.) Support for newcomers and refugees Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment Support for Veterans Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans Support for Indigenous people Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people Support for mature workers Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers Supports for visible minorities Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
