Duties and responsibilities of this position include:

Responsible for specific tasks, projects or reports;

Assist with other Department of Operations tasks including the operation of various types of equipment (sewer flusher, sewer camera, bobcat, backhoe and single axle trucks);

Must be able to lift 50 lbs;

Weekend and on-call rotation is expected; The successful applicant will possess the following skills and abilities:

Must be enrolled or able to attain the Alberta Environment Operators Certificate programs (Wastewater Collection 1, Wastewater Treatment 1 and Water Distribution 1);

Must have experience in the operation of a backhoe and other construction equipment;
-
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; Salary :As per AUPE agreement Class 14, $25.85 to $29.96 per hour
Hours of Work : Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week
