The Warehouse Lead will assist with overseeing all functions in the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all activities and assist customers with loading product.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately pick customer orders, verify quantities and product picked
- Load product in customer vehicles and in delivery vehicles
- Utilize forklift or other machinery to pick and move product
- Unload trucks and receive incoming product, ensuring accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Guides and directs up to 2 Warehouse Workers based on season
- Keep work areas clean: sweeping, emptying cardboard and garbage
- Work safely and efficiently
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years prior warehouse experience
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work overtime as required to complete daily tasks
- Physically agile and able to lift, carry, and move large and awkward items up to 55 lbs
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to read and write in English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions and meet daily deadlines
- Flexible to change tasks quickly when necessary
