Warranty Administrator (Field Operations) Full-Time Permanent

Position Overview

As a Warranty Administrator, your primary goal will be to meet the requirements outlined by Tarion for each new home built by Fandor Homes. This position will be located predominantly on-site with periodic functions at head office. Opportunities for internal career advancement for various roles can be available. Primary Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections
  • Review warranty submissions with Homeowners/Tarion
  • Organize, input and disseminate warranty items to trades
  • Coordinate site staff and trades as directed by Site Supervisor
  • Organize communication/documentation with head office and site
  • Maintain up to date warranty reports
  • Communicate with Tarion representatives
  • Liaise with Homeowners
  • Adhere to Tarion's CPG

Secondary Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain site level filing system
  • Co-ordinate municipal inspections
  • Contribute to a positive Health & Safety environment
  • Liaise between Trades and Supervisor and head office
  • Support the Supervisor with related clerical and communication functions

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in low-rise construction
  • Knowledge of Tarion’s New Home Warranty process and the CPG
  • Experience conducting PDIs is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and complete work on time under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to demonstrate professionalism when communicating with trades, staff and homeowners
  • Valid class G drivers license
  • High School diploma, relevant Post-secondary education

Compensation based on work experience

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $48,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
