OpenRoad’s Financial Services Manager (FSM) Development Team is a paid contract position that involves a structured in-class training followed by real on-the-job experience. Our next intake to this highly-sought-after program is June 3rd, 2024. So, if you’ve wanted to get into the Financial Services Office with Canada’s preeminent automotive group, this is your opportunity! If you are successful in getting accepted to the program, you will receive a 12-month full-time paid contract position that provides: 3 weeks of comprehensive in-class training1-week in-store shadowing working with some of OpenRoad’s most experienced Financial Services ManagersUp to 11 months of in-store relief work functioning as a Financial Services Manager in a temporary capacity. Being a part of the FSM Development Team allows you the opportunity to gain real-world experience and fine tune your presentation skills, product knowledge and sales processes. Our goal is for you to find a permanent position within the OpenRoad Auto Group’s 22 BC dealerships located from Richmond to Abbotsford.Following successful competition of the in-class training and throughout the length of the contract, you will be considered over external candidates for permanent Financial Services positions within the OpenRoad Auto Group. Will you be a good candidate for OpenRoad’s F&I Development Team? ✓ If you have experience in Finance, Sales, Insurance or Automotive then this is a greatopportunity to build on your current skill set. You’ll need to be: An effective communicator so you’re able to ensure our guests understand the details of their purchase, provide education on their personal credit, listen to their needs and demonstrate solutions in a clear and objective manner.Well organized so you’re able to maintain the flow of ongoing business as it pertains to securing approvals, preparing paperwork and product presentations for booked deliveries and finalizing documents from completed deliveries.Able to maintain a high-level of attention to detail to make certain that guest and vehicle information is accurate on legally binding purchase/lease documentation to reduce funding delays and dealership liability.Able to take ownership of your role and responsibilities by contributing to the needs of the department and helping construct positive outcomes for challenging situations.Able to demonstrate efficient time management skills when scheduling deliveries to create a seamless transaction for the guest while setting other team members up for success in a fast-paced environment.Self motivated to improve yourself and your individual sales and product penetration results through ongoing training and development to exceed the targets set out for the team.The type that thrives under pressure during month-end delivery volumes while balancing the needs of accommodating tight time frames and maintaining/improving product penetration results without compromising the guest experience You’ll also need to be: Able to be licenced with the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of BC (MVSABC) prior to working with documents and guests.Legally able to operate a motor vehicle in the Province of British Columbia and able to provide a clean driver’s abstract.
