Job description:
As a Fleet Maintenance Manager, you are in charge of maximizing efficiency and profitability by managing the maintenance of the vehicles used by Client. Your responsibilities as a fleet maintenance manager include all fleet maintenance logistics, ensuring minimized costs and maximized profits, by monitoring everything from vehicle wear to fuel costs. The primary objective is to enhance processes, ensure compliance with all regulations, achieve cost savings and anticipate future needs.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Fleet Manager, Supervisor or similar role
- Valid driver’s license
- Awareness of Highway Traffic Act, including hours of service, weight restrictions etc.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in using fleet management software systems
- Ability to read schematics and diagnose mechanical issues
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Industry knowledge an asset
