SoLo Suites in Langford are pristine self-contained suites. Built in 2018, SoLo Suites is a new concept hotel where the guest has the option to choose their hotel room type, level of cleaning services, book online, pay online and get room key codes, all over the internet.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and supporting all administrative duties in the office
  • Organizing and coordinating activities for team members
  • Managing office supply inventory and placing orders as necessary
  • Assisting with a variety of tasks from multiple team members as necessary
  • Providing other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or General Manager
  • Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations.
  • Consistently resolve guest issues and complaints in an efficient manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns in a timely fashion.
  • Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests’ preferences and special requests.
  • Builds strong relationships and coordinates with all other departments especially housekeeping.
  • Ensure front desk supplies are stocked and computer equipment functioning properly.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in an administrative/office management role
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google products
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Adaptable to the demands of the day
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work a variety shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Double Covid-19 vaccination

Salary : $22.40 per hour

  • Weekends only

Experience :

  • administrative/office management role: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
