Job Title: Shop Laborer
Duties :
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Work within a production line at various stations building pads/blocks
- Load and unload materials and equipment with forklift
- Cut, measure and build with precision
- Work with management to hit deadlines and timeline requirements
- Clean and prepare job site
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Work within a team to ensure work is done in a timely fashion
- Ability to work alone when required, while still achieving target deadlines
- Opportunities for occasional overtime hours
Skills :
- Ability to lift heavy objects (100+lbs blocks) and perform physical labor
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately
- Hard working with a positive attitude
- Good with numbers and has an open communication attitude
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools an asset (will provide basic training)
- Knowledge of Forklift driving an asset (will provide basic training)
- Construction experience is a bonus, but not necessary
