Afterschool Program Early Childhood Educator

Muskoka Lakes Preschool is a licensed childcare centre governed by a board of directors. We have one preschool room and the afterschool program. We are located in Glen Orchard Public School.

Muskoka Lakes Preschool is looking for an Registered Early Childhood Educator for our Afterschool Program . You must be passionate, kind, dedicated & responsible, and enjoy multi-tasking.

Responsibilities include :

• Assist in developing and implementing programming for Afterschool Program that supports and promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children age 4-13 years old.
• record daily attendance and documentation into Lillio
• Ensure an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
• Supervise children safely inside and outside
• Must be able to fulfill cleaning duties necessary for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working alongside children
• set up and organize classroom

Must have or be willing to obtain the following certification : -Early Childhood Education Diploma

• Police Check (VSC)
• First Aid/CPR

SHIFT: 2:00-6:00pm
