We provide responsive day to day repairs, property refurbishment, and electrical and gas servicing for our , customers living in 47, homes across the Midlands. Part of Platform Housing group, with over 1, colleagues, we work to deliver quality homes and customer services that make real differences to local home and lives. This is an exciting time to join the PPC Team; our vision is clear – we are growing fast, and we aim to achieve our plan through an engaged and highly skilled team.   What will you be doing as an Apprentice Electrician?   As an Apprentice Electrician you will learn all about what it takes to make sure our customers’ homes are maintained to a high and safe standard. You will produce work of the highest quality while providing excellent service to our customers, clients, and your team.As part of this apprenticeship, you will work closely with qualified Electricians carrying out first and second fix electrical work and electrical repairs. The work will be varied and interesting and you will have the support of a mentor throughout your apprenticeship.  At College, you will study the 4-year Electrical Installation Apprenticeship standard at Level 3 by attending Lincoln College or a similar provider one day a week, alongside learning and working with experienced operatives during the rest of the week.  On successful completion of the Electrical Installation Level 3 Apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for any related job vacancies within PPC. If you gain permanent employment with PPC you will continue to be supported in your learning and development. PPC has a strong track record of offering permanent jobs to its Apprentices once they qualify.  Some things we need from you Excellent communication skills  Excellent organisation skills  Customer care skills  Team working  Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in English would be desirable  Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in Maths would be desirable  Some things you need to know The team is based in Louth and will cover this town and the surrounding area, so applicants need to live in this area This is a Level 3 course lasting 4 years depending upon entry point You would work a 40-hour week working Monday to Friday As you will be working in customer’s homes you will require a DBS check Ideally you would need to hold a full driving licence, but this is not essential at this point, but the role is mobile We only need you to complete an application form, no CV required.
