CATHARINESCompensation Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. · Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $ per hour. · Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $ per hour. · In cases where additional duties are required as part of a Teaching Assistant’s duties, these hours shall be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. Duties The duties and responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant shall be in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement. These are made up of scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as may be required.Qualifications The qualifications for this position have changed since it was last posted.1. Completed undergraduate degree and previous completion of ADST 5P76 with >85 grade.2. Demonstrated relevant Graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Behavioural Psychology.3. Demonstrated experience in disability and ABA.4. Previous experience in teaching principles of ABA to graduate or undergraduate students and/or clinical staff members an asset.5. Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.6. Ability to prioritize work and meet agreed upon deadlines.7. Available to attend in ST. CATHARINES* and/or attend online synchronous and asynchronous course support – weekday/evenings/weekend.8. Experience using Brightspace or other online instructional platforms.9. Experience using video conferencing platforms (, Lifesize, Microsoft Teams)10. Available for in person, online, email and phone office hours during the week.
