Join us as we grow our way into a future that reimagines what it means to deliver meaningful benefits support and service.Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:Reporting to the Sales & Service Manager, Collector Cars and Motorcycles Program, you’llplace and maintain insurance coverage for antique auto, collector car and motorcycle products as well as other Lifestyle products. They are responsible for monitoring renewals as well as processing endorsements and cancellations and providing client-focused solutions to customers.The core parts of your role will be to: Selling Lifestyle products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications.Servicing Lifestyle products – motorcycle, collector cars as well as RV, Boats and cottages.Actively participating within the team unit and independently to continuously contribute to overall business improvement.Identifies and explains appropriate coverage to clients.Assists with cross selling other products such as Home, Auto, Commercial etc.Generates policies, calculates premiums, and establishes payment methods.Communicates with clients regarding existing and possible changes to coverage, in-person, by telephone or email.Files applications, attachments, and conversation notes in the appropriate location according to the workflow (paper files or electronically) in Power Broker and applied rating services.Responds to questions from clients in-person, by telephone or email.Reports claims to the insurance company and follows up with the client.Attends trade shows to answer questions or places coverage for clients.Files applications in the appropriate location.Maintains accurate logs of quotes completed, sales completed, days worked and any other measurements pertaining to monthly reporting requirements.Processes endorsements and cancellations at the request of clients.Upholds privacy standards when dealing with confidential information.Keeps updated on company underwriting guidelines and changing markets.Performs other duties as required.QualificationsLet’s Talk About You: This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:Completion of secondary school.RIBO license is required (AMF or other National Licensing would be considered an asset).Willing to get licensed nationally (excluding Quebec).CAIB, CPIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM or other industry designations an asset.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with Power Broker or another broker management system is an asset.
