North Vancouver- Event & Tour Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 per year

 

Our North Vancouver office team is seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual who would like to join the Ellison team as an Event & Tour Coordinator

The Role:

The successful candidate will work with the General Manager work together to execute successful tour operations for the events. The Event & Tour Coordinator will complete several festival related duties and have a focus on building excellent relationships with suppliers (hotels, restaurants and attractions) as well as teachers/group leaders. The Event and Tour Coordinator will also qualify and provide quotations to new teachers interested in attending the festivals. Qualifications

  • Team-focused with ability to adapt and support change, solve problems creatively, and adjust approach as necessary.
  • Passion and experience in travel an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, sense of accountability, and professionalism.
  • Technological proficiency including MS office, and ability to adapt quickly to changing technology.
  • Ability to adapt and support change, solve problems creatively, and adjust approach as necessary.
