Carpenter Journeyman - WOperations · Conklin, AlbertaLocation: Cenovus - Christina LakeShift Schedule: 7/7 Hours: 12 hours daily Accommodations: On site camp Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary Equipment Required: 4x4 1500 series truck (less than 10 years old) and tools Position Responsibilities: Construct, erect and repair buildings and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, steel, and other materials, as needed.Follow all OH&S and Cenovus Safety Standards, Practices and Work procedures;Participate in Cenovus toolbox, monthly safety meetings and other meetings as directed by the Coordinator NPI Trades;Assist the Coordinator NPI Trades to identify maintenance and shutdown priorities;Report all hazardous conditions, near misses and accidents;Identify improvement opportunities for equipment and maintenance activities;Participate in rotational on-call for after hours work and respond, as required;Perform routine preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and equipment troubleshooting activities;Use Cenvous’s SAP system for maintenance notifications, maintenance work, parts, maintenance records and maintenance work schedules;Participate in the maintenance planning and scheduling process and perform work as required by the plans and schedule; Assist the Cenovus Coordinator NPI Trades in achieving desired maintenance KPI’s including cost, schedule, safety and quality.
