Account Executive, Corporate Sales East

Job Summary The Account Executive, Corporate Sales is responsible for growing Porter’s corporate account base as it expands it's network into new markets across Canada and the United States. The Account Executive role will be focused on finding new corporate customers and improving the performance of the existing portfolio of corporate accounts. Duties & Responsibilities Build awareness of Porter’s growth strategy in the business community Execute the business development strategy to expand Porter’s corporate account base in Eastern Ontario, Quebec and key markets in Eastern Canada and the United States Grow Porter’s market share with a designated list of existing corporate accounts Create, Present, Negotiate, Execute, maintain deliverables, and renew contracts for all targeted and existing corporate accounts Strategically develop and deliver a plan to increase profitability and yield within portfolio. Conduct regular Business Reviews with accounts to ensure contract compliance and delivery of targeted sales revenue to Porter Maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate customers. Ensure pipeline reporting, strategies, policies and procedures are in compliance with strategic direction Maintain corporate client information through the designated customer database systems (Zendesk CRM) and ensure pipeline updates, activities, and account productivity are tracked for reporting purposes Assist in the-development of sales targets, account growth targets and budget requirements Build in person relationships with new accounts. Maintain in person relationships with existing accounts Gather market intelligence and use this intelligence to refine account offers. Share market intelligence with key Porter state holders to enhance management decisions across the organization Participates in applicable networking and industry events representing Porter, including some Charitable Support initiatives Behavioural Competencies Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for self and others. Qualifications A minimum of 5-7 years of industry relevant procurement and/or strategic sales expertise Proven people leadership Goals, objectives and measurement oriented Field-based self-starting attitude with strong communication skills Working knowledge of CRM and/or SFA tools Knowledge of airline, travel agency sales, account management and industry relations practices Knowledge of client travel program optimization methodologies, measurement, training, change management, marketing channels to enhance Porter offerings, sales force effectiveness and tool development Working knowledge of all forms of payment used by agencies and corporate accounts Industry profile and relationships Undergraduate university degree and/or relevant industry experience of more than 7 years #LI-Hybrid
