Adecco Engineering & Technical Recruitment is currently hiring a Field Service Technician (Medical Imaging Equipment) in the Greater Vancouver Area, in BC, to work directly for our client. In this role, you will be under the responsibility of the Regional Service Manager, and be responsible for the maintenance, repair, calibration, and installation of diagnostic imaging systems to ensure exceptional operation and support for their customers. Requirements - Field Service Technician (Diagnostic Imaging Equipment) . - Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada - Modality experience required some experience with either X-RAY, CT, or Nuclear Medicine (either Radiographic, Radiographic / Fluoroscopic, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, knowledge of PACS terms, SIR, DICOM an asset.) - 3+ years of diagnostic imaging equipment, with biomedical equipment, field service experience, preferably in a hospital / medical setting would be an asset. - Degree or diploma in biomedical engineering, electronics, or electromechanics, or in another relevant field of study. - Good working knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating system and networks would be an asset. - Experience in documenting all activities completed and supporting multi-vendor program performance improvement initiatives. - Excellent command of English both orally and in writing. - Regional overnight travel to clients and customers required from time to time . . Responsibilities - Field Service Technician (Diagnostic Imaging Equipment) . - Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment installed in hospitals and clinics. - Provide field service support for commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, in a proactive and quality manner on diagnostic imaging equipment. - Monitor and maintain an insurance plan for equipment safety and mandatory performance levels. - Meet the expectations of customers in terms of quality of service and communication. - Complete documentation related to products, test reports, service records, etc. - Travel to hospitals and clinics to carry out planned and unplanned service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography systems and computer-assisted radiology systems. - Effectively manage time and assigned projects. - Support the policies, procedures and practices of our client . .
