Child Care Assistant (Cca)

The Prep Montessori Daycare, in Charleswood, is looking for a full-time Child Care Assistant (CCA).

You will be a part of a dynamic group of educators comprising of Early Childhood Educators (II & III), Experienced Montessori Teachers, and Trained Child Care Assistants.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting the Head Montessori Teacher in your assigned classroom.
• Ensuring the safety of all children in your care.
• Leading engaging age appropriate activities as assigned (indoor & outdoor).
• Completing daily cleaning duties as assigned.

You must possess the following:

• A Child Care Assistant designation in Manitoba
• A Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
• A Clean Criminal Record Check
• A Clean Child Abuse Registry Check

Priority will be given to Child Care Assistants who:

• Want to further their education in the field by becoming an ECE II or a MACTE/AMI Certified Montessori Teacher.
• Hold a North American Montessori Center Diploma.
• Have a degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Years Education from another country.
• Have previously worked as a Child Care Assistant in an early years Montessori program.

The Prep Montessori Daycare pays trained Child Care assistants $35,360.00 a year.

We are accepting out of province applicants and will help with relocation.
