Production Planner

In support of our growth, we are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Production Planner who will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the production schedule to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. You will be responsible for analyzing production specifications and capacity requirements, developing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand with Production and Supply Chain.
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Investigate Inventory Inaccuracies in coordination with Supply Chain to realize optimum inventory accuracy so as to significantly minimize parts shortages.
  • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
  • Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
  • Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
  • Work with concerned departments in addressing and resolving operations issues to ensure high on-time delivery of Products.
  • Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
  • Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
  • Other tasks and initiatives as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP will be an asset
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification will be an asset.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
