Compensation:

LPN range is $30-$36/hour

RN range is $40-$50/hour

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience for the role with CareRx.

Your Day to Day:

  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) employed by CareRx Vancouver Downtown pharmacy, you will provide off-site medication administration at treatment facilities and clinical activities in partnership with home partners, working hours are 7am-11am five days per week with rotating weekends 
  • Front line medication administration activities at treatment facilities offsite near our pharmacy
  • Confirm the identity of the individual receiving the medication and ensure it reaches the intended individual
  • Complete basic assessments to ensure medications are safe to administer
  • Liaison between the facility and the operations pharmacy to support seamless and continuous care
  •  Other responsibilities that may be assigned
  • What You Will Bring to The Team:

  • Licensed and practicing RN or RPN in BC
  • Minimum 1 years experience in a nursing setting/Mental Health
  • Excellent customer service
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be reliable, accurate and efficient
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Licensed to drive a motor vehicle in BC
