Must Haves

  • Degree in construction management or related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record of managing residential construction projects
  • Proficient in procurement, purchasing, and budget management for construction projects
  • Skilled in contract development and management with a focus on sustainability
  • Familiar with construction industry standards and insurance requirements
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and ensure project satisfaction

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in working with First Nation communities and non-profit housing associations
  • Commitment to sustainability and affordable housing
  • Experience in modernization site setup and inventory management
  • Experience with the Corecon software
  • Multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Metro Vancouver industrial sites for storage and renovation projects
  • PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management aspects efficiently, ensuring on-time and within budget delivery
  • Manage subcontractor, procurement, and logistics
  • Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers to uphold quality standards
  • Set up and manage client, subcontractor, and vendor agreements
  • Oversee record-keeping and document management
  • Identify and secure sites for the storage and renovation of homes
  • Handle lease agreements, permitting, site setup, and security
  • Track and manage equipment and assets, ensuring their maintenance and security
  • Manage company and project insurances, covering equipment, assets, and vehicles
  • Monitor project progress and conduct metrics and analysis
  • Regularly update clients on project status and address any concerns for satisfactory outcomes
