Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Lead a national Fleet Management team consisting of 4 specialists. Responsible for designing the tractor and trailer equipment strategy for Sobeys nationally, including spec design, fleet size, VRS, OEMs, asset disposals and procurement. Responsible for designing the Tractor and Trailer repair and maintenance strategy for Sobeys nationally, including maintenance vendors, warranty requirements, and R&M expense tracking software. Responsible for designing and gaining alignment on our fleet sustainability strategy, and ensuring Sobeys is prepared to achieve its aggressive 2030 sustainability goals. Responsible for designing the fleet technology strategy and roadmap, including Samsara, Mirlin, but also exploring potential new fleet technology that can drive significant benefits for Sobeys. Also responsible for building a Centre of Excellence program to ensure we are effectively utilizing the data generated from these tools. Responsible for designing a national feet safety program that includes a policy this is compliant in all provinces and addresses driver behavior challenges / safety gamification. What you have to offer: Minimum 10 years progressive management experience in Fleet Management and Transportation. Excellent Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Regulations for Commercial Vehicles, and Drivers. Safety and compliance experience related to the Transportation Industry.
