Duties Work environmentCORCAN, as part of the Correctional Service of Canada, is responsible for the Employment and Employability Program for offenders serving a federal sentence. CORCAN supports and operates a wide variety of interventions in federal institutions as well as for offenders under community supervision. CORCAN Building Services Workers and CORCAN Installations Instructors are part of the CORCAN construction or installation teams and provide a unique opportunity to conduct duties related to construction or installations in a correctional environment (institution and community based) as well as at client locations, providing on the job and vocational training for offenders who are assigned to the CORCAN employment program.
