Join the team that’s changing lives!We’re seeking a full-time, permanent Field Support Coordinator/Trainer to support our growing team! This role will support a territory consisting of Eastern Ontario (Quinte, Kingston, Ottawa and surrounding areas) and Atlantic Canada. The ideal candidate will be based in Ottawa and will work in a hybrid environment. Travel will be required within the assigned regions, additionally, some infrequent company-related travel to our Burlington head office and events will be expected. What it’s all about:Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, the Field Support Coordinator/Trainer will support the day-to-day sales and operations of our hearing centres through superb training and communication with our front-line coordination teams. This is a multi-faceted role which will interact with our Training, Operational, and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have an organized, meticulous approach and provide dedicated training to our new and existing team members.What you'll be responsible for: Facilitate a positive and effective experience through onboarding, training, and shadowing support to new employees. Provide ongoing post-training follow up for new employees and address any training-related concerns.Deliver and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies (on-the-job, simulation, knowledge-based, and experiential) via virtual, ILT, e-learning, and blended.Assist in the development and implementation of training programs and content.Provide coverage for administrative/front desk reception duties when team members are on vacation, sick, or require additional assistance. Assess onboarded talent risks to identify potential challenges and gaps in the onboarding process and post-training care. Create & maintain Standard Operating Procedures by assisting in ensuring best practices are adhered to at centre level such as schedule management, patient recall process, patient database and files. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on HearCANADA's policies, procedures, and systems. Participate in required travel the assigned territory (including some out of province travel to Atlantic Canada via plane) which can involve some overnight travelWhat we are looking for:Secondary school education (or equivalent) combined with relevant experience; post-secondary education would be considered a bonus1+ year of experience in a multi-site or territory training position, ideally within a high-volume administrative/clinic environment or within a retail setting 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role Clinic, medical, and/or healthcare experience would be a definite asset, though not a requirement Direct experience with KPIs (key performance indicators) related to sales targets and client service Technical acumen and comfortability in learning and adopting new software; MS Office Suite is required, experience with EMR/EHR platforms and/or LMS platforms would be a definite asset Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customers and other stakeholdersExceptional people skills and ability to train and influenceExcellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate appropriately with a variety of stakeholders (peers, management, suppliers, customers, etc.)Access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license is required; willingness to travel within the assigned territory is required which can include some air travel to Atlantic Canada and some overnight commitments for multi-day trips What’s in it for you?
